Air Quality Monitoring Stations

ALSAFA Environmental & Technical Services LLC provides state of the art Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Mobile Station (AAQMS) produced by ThermoFisher Scientific to monitor ambient air quality for the criteria pollutants as well as other hazardous air pollutants (HAP's) such as Total Hydrocarbons (THC), Ammonia (NH3) and all meteorological parameters.

 

Our AAQMS as the capability to measure the following parameters on a continuous basis using USEPA (40 CFR 50) and other international standards 

 

Currently we are working with the consortium of PDO, ORPIC, Shell, Oman Oil, and Al Maha Petroleum for conducting country-wide air quality monitoring by our Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station fitted with CAM sensors for criteria pollutants and other specific pollutants including:

  

• Particulate Matter (PM10); 

• Sulphur Dioxide (SO2); 

• Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx); 

• Nitrogen dioxide (NO2);

• Nitrogen Oxide (NO) (by subtraction)

• Carbon monoxide (CO);

• Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S); 

• Non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC);

• Total hydrocarbons (THC);

• Methane (by subtraction);

• Ozone (O3). 

 

We also have a weather station to monitor:

• Wind speed; 

• Wind direction; 

• Temperature; 

• Relative humidity; and 

• Pressure.

In addition, have the capability to measure ambient air quality using passive diffusion tubes.
